Tapp is an Android app developed by SimplyTapp Inc. (1145 W. 5th St. Suite 101 Austin, TX 78703).

Tapp first became available on 12 Sep 2012. It is estimated that Tapp has been downloaded between 5000 and 10000 times from the Play Store.

Tapp 2.6 requires the following permissions:

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows applications to perform I/O operations over NFC.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
